2 SBS 2008 in one domain

By Kompis ·
But only one has FSMO roles. The other one is running SQL. I wanted to run the connect program to get proper client side reporting on the Real SBS (the one with Exchange), but can't get it to run on the workstations.

My deeper concern is that I thought you could have ONLY 1 SBS per domain (except during migration). What kinds of problems have been seen with something like this? I don't relish a nasty surprise.

I don't know

Another consultant I work with set it up this way. I don't think it is necessary to keep it, but the client is functioning OK and despises downtime. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and had any dire warnings for me.
