2 scopes on DHCP

By k4k ·
how do i configure 2 different DHCP Scopes on WIN NT DHCP server.

i have 2 segments on LAN first segments has 60 computers & 2 segment has 50 computers. the IP address range for 1st segment should be to ( Say Scope 1 )

sameway i want to assign to to 2nd segment. (Scope2)

at the same time clients in 1st segment should not get the IP address from scope2 which is meant for 2nd Segment.

i want to assign these using DHCP how do i dothis.

Hi, what you would do is create one scope for scope1, which INCLUDE to

You would then EXCLUDE the addresses from scope2, to

After that, create a scope for scope2, INCLUDE to and EXCLUDE to

hope that helps
