2 versions of outlook on computer – emails go to wrong version of outlook

by xyz125 . Updated 15 years, 4 months ago

Hi:

I just installed OutLook 2003 on my computer(yesterday). I now have 2 versions of Outllok on my computer: Outlook 2003 which was just added: and Outook Express which I have had for a year. I run Windows Xp.

When I receive email messages now, they seem to end up to end up randomly, in either product, but never both products.

eg. my login email from TechRepublic went to Otlook 2003 today. But my Google NewsAlerts today went to Outlook Express.
So, as of now, I don’t know when or if I can ever remove Outlook Express from my computer. By the way, I imported all my Outlook Express Messages and Contacts and Folders into 2003 yesterday.

Do you have any insight into this ?

Thank you.
