I’m running a windows nt4.0 server as a PDC.
I have many 98 client computers on the network and when they login they run a logon script, which does a few thing’s like mapping drives etc.I’ve also created a workgroup named workgroup that they belong to.I also have a few windows 2000 clients on the network. It seems the only way I could get them to run the logon script is to have them login to the domain. My delima is that when they do and I browse the network they show up in the domain not the workgroup. When I change the computers properties to join a workgroup instead of the domain they are unable to run the logon script because they are not logging into the domain. So, I would like the 2000 clients to show up in the workgroup and still be able for them to run their logon scripts.
