Has anyone installed and run Windows XP professional on the client end of a 2000 server network. If so, did you encounter any problems?

I ran XP RC-2 on a 2000 domain and had no issues at all.

Remote desktop plugged cleanly into the terminal server (if you're run that).

Network configuration boxes were pretty much identical to any 2000 pro box.

The only thing I didn't like about XP was all the new desktop "enhancements" (dogged the whole system) but once they were turned off it ran fine.

I am running three computers with XP on them with no problems. The Candy Land look and feel kills your computer performance. At least we can turn it off. Basically it's windows 2000 version .2. Have a great day!
