As demonstrated, I have given each partition a drive letter and I have mounted the partition onto an empty NTFS directory.
I right-click into a drive via the junction-point and create a new folder, and the folder is created.
Now I am seeing a strange problem. If I immediately try to delete the folder, I get a message "Access Denied."
I can, however, delete the folder via the drive letter. Curiously, I am able to delete the folder from the Junction Point from CMD prompt using RMDIR.
I can create and delete (text) files, so the problem seems to be deleting folders only.
I verified permissions, I am an admin, and the folder is new, so no one should be using it. I tested by creating a number of folders and trying to delete each folder and each showed Access Denied.
Any hints are appreciated.
Thanks, Jim
