One of our 2003 Terminal Servers has developed some problems.
Users can log in and for the most part work without any problems. When trying to open Office files through Explorer a message similar to this pops up. ?Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges”. If they open the file through the file open command in the application, the files will open.
In Terminal Services Manager when you double click on any server you get an error that states ?You could not be authenticated on this server?.
Have read many Microsoft items related to these errors and have not been able to solve this problem.
Tried removing the server from the domain and adding it back.
Tried removing Terminal Services from the system and adding it back.
There is nothing that points to a cause in Event Viewer.
We have compared local policies to other Term Servers and things look normal.
Any help would be appreciated.
