On Win95, using Office 97, the cheap verison without “Access”. when I press the “x” to close down Excel, the hourglass stays for 25 secs.
When I close “Word”, it closes immedistly but I cannot start another “Word Doc” for 25 secs. Both are doing something at close down that takes an unnessary amount of time.
Nothing is running. Ctrl-alt-del show WinWord or Excel still active.
It’s getting worse, ie was 15 secs, then 20 secs.
Anyone experienced similar, or know how to stop it.
