Hi, i’m looking to install a second 2003 server and am needing a little advice.
We have a seperate office, connected wirelessly and i’d like to add a backup server in there for when the wireless might be down.
There are only 5 users in this office.
All PCs are part of the same domain.
Ideally i’d like for the second server to allow logins for these 5 users and to run their login scripts. All file shares are contained within their office.
the wireless network rarely fails but when it has there have been one too many complaints!
I’ve a second server here with a fresh install of server 2003.
I shall run dcpromo but then how do i get this second server to validate all logins (copied from current dc) and point users to their correct shares etc
