2nd domain controller loses connection to 1st domain controller and interne

We are having issues with the Second Domain Controller in on our Network.

Here is the Network Topology.
We have Server1 which is the Main Windows 2003 Domain Controller. Server2 was built as a backup domain controller. Both servers have DNS servers on them. Both servers are patched with all the same updates. Server1 has 2gb ram and server2 has 4gb ram. Server1 has a 3tb Raid attached to it via SCSI. Server2 has a 9tb Raid attached to it via Scsi.

Here is the problem.
The two servers ran perfectly fine for about 2 months. After i went in and updated and patched both servers with the latest patches, the second server, server2, every 17 to 22 hours needs to be rebooted. I lose connection to my Active Directory and i cannot access the internet. I can however ping the internet and ping google. The only way i found to fix the problem is to reboot. Then it happens again. When this occurs i can see server2 from server1, but i cannot see server1 from server2.
