2nd SATA Hard Drive unallocated in Vista

by synthsapien . Updated 18 years, 1 month ago

I have a new machine running Vista and have got around any problems OK so far. My main issue is that I have a Seagate SATA hard drive full of files that is not fully recognised in Vista. This was my storage hard drive on the previous WinXP machine. Vista sees the drive, but lists it as unallocated and I cannot access the info on it. I know I can repartiiton it, but I need to access the files it contains without deleting any.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks.
