300 dpi

I am trying to convert a collage I made on Picasa to 11 x 17 and 300 dpi so I can send it to a place that will make puzzles from it….I found where to change it to 11 x 17 (i think) and now I have no clue what to do or where to go to change it to the 300 dpi part 🙁
