32 bit child devices error

by michaelrmonroe . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

My computer wasn’t showing a cdrom drive at all, so I tried to update drivers and the devices showing under the device manager with errors. Well I fixed them but now my computer won’t operate in anything except safe mode. My error says that I have child devices trying to use 32 bit and aren’t compatiable. This devices aill cause my computer to be corrupt if computer is booted in normal mode. I am not sure anymore about what to do. I was thinking about installing windows me upgrade as a possiblefix I’m using 95 now. I took all the useable parts out of a Compaq, and put them into a barebones. Like I said everything worked fine with some errors showing, and no cdrom before, now I’m stuck in safe mode. Any help is greatly appreciated.
