32bits exchange 2007

I am new to exchange. I am setting up a lab for training purpose. I install exchange 2007 on a server sucessful, create mail boxes and I am using the default domain name in my Hub role which is my lab domain. I am using only one server for my entire project and a PC. I instaled Outlook 2003 on the pc. However, when I am trying to create the profile on my pc it does not find my exchange server.
I do not what else I need to do to make this work and be able to send emails using outlook or OWA. I could ping my server from PC.
I am using a cisco to switch to connect both device. No router involve.
This is the link of step I follow to configure my Exchange Server.,295582,sid43_gci122**29,00.html

Thank you

It would most likely be a DNS issue. Is the computre joined to the domain? Can you log into the PC using a domain ID? Have you checked the server event logs?

Let me know.

I am sorry I could not respond sooner. Yes that solved the problem. I did what you suggested me and I was able to get it done
