802.11b VPN Access

I use a Linksys WAP/switch/router at home with a D-Link card and can NOT access my work VPN via my wireless connection on my laptop, but when I hardwire to the Linksys switch router, I have no problems. I have “played” with my 802.11b settings, butwould like to accomplish this in a more “directed” manner, rather than burning those precious few hours to actually enjoy being home:-) Any ideas out there?
