I have been running 2 SATA drives and a IDE CD-Rom for abotu a year and a half now. I recently bought a 3rd SATA drive and when I plug it into the SATA3 port and reboot the BIOS does not recognize it.
I have updated the BIOS to build 8.00.12, build date 04/27/07. And I am running Windows XP proffesional version 2002 Service Pack 2.
I have tried changing the the setting in the BIOS. When it is set to Enhanced and it shows the 2 Sata’s and the CD rom, when I change the setting to Compatible, SATA’s only it only shows the first drive and the CD-rom. All other settings do not change anything.
I a looking to have 3 SATA drives in my computer can some one give me a solution?
