We have NT and 98 clients running on a token ring network. Both clients use IBM Client Access Express to connect to an AS/400. Have SMS 2.0, Proxy 2.0 (Winsock), InocluateIT, Office 2000, IE 5.5, Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.05, and Power Archiver installed on each client. We use TCP/IP and NetBEUI protocols. We also have DHCP and WINS running. We are having problems with our 98 clients responding super slow. It takes forever to do anything on the client. But it doesnt always happen everyday. The client can be fine a day or two and then have problems for a day. Back and forth like this for the past three weeks. Our NT clients are fine no problems. It’s just the 98 clients having this problem! Any ideas???
