Windows 98 SE: RAM fills up and everything slows down (ALL Computers). Try to do anything it takes forever. Is there a simple command to empty the unused memory occasionally. Every time I copy large programs or CD burn I have to restart my computer (Very TIME CONSUMING). I recently Installed Norton System works to try to help out, it did show me the RAM USAGE fills up but NEVER EMPTIES unless, I restart. This is Innefficiant, causes program failures, and seems like a BUG in the WINDOWS operating system (sorry Mr. Gates). It also occures if I leave the computer on with a program running, I monitor Surveillance Video and alarms remotely, so this is a problem. I have heard of a program called Catcheman but do I really have to add a program tomake Windows run properly?
