Is it possible to use iPhone shortcut to visually inspect headers of incoming email for scamming?
iPhone mail app lacks feature to display headers and iCloud.com mail shows header information that is too complex for eye inspection.

When looking at the headers of this message, it can be observed that the scammer spoofed the display name and domain name to show the actual faculty member’s name and university email address. However, a closer look at the ‘Return-Path’ and ‘Reply-To’ in the email headers indicates that the sender is not who they claim to be.
From: “Professor John Doe” <[email protected]>
      Reply-To: “Professor John Doe” <[email protected]>
      Return-Path: <[email protected]>

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251168095?sortBy=rank shows it’s an old and apparently still unsolved issue.

Three suggestions, but I’m afraid you won’t like them:
      – wait a year to see if the coming iOS version of Thunderbird has the option (the desktop version for Windows has)
      – link your icloud.com to a mail program on some other device that offers this option (like Thunderbird on Windows, maybe also Thunderbird on MacOS, or the webversion of gmail.com)
      – forward all mails (or, if possible, only mails from unknown senders) to an account that you can view in another program (like Thunderbird) on another device.

On iCloud.com, open the email, click the gear icon (⚙️) > ‘Show Long Headers’. It’s a quick way to check the full email path and spot spoofing or scam signs—no shortcut needed!
