A community platform with data stored outside de USA

    by jordi2105 ·

Hi, for a company I’m looking for a private community platform that stores its data outside the USA. Features that the platform should have:
    – a forum for employees to have discussions on different topics
    – (private) chat functionality
    – resource library
If possible, it would also be nice if you could customize your profile with skillsets and the possibility to add e-learning modules.

    Has anyone suggestions? Thanks!

If you can’t find this, I’m afraid the next step is to find open source software for then components you need and try to combine them as good as possible storing data on the company’s own servers or own private cloud from a provider that offers local (only in Russia, or only inside the EU or such) storage.

All the platforms I’ve seen use some version of SQL. The SQL server could be almost anywhere in the world.

This means this platform would hosted on a web host outside the USA and you are done with that requirement.

So with that out of the way, look to open source systems like HUMHUB that you can download and then deploy on your web host outside the USA.

-> Remember that I take it you are a web developer or have a team to build this.
