A fax.awd file in 95 to a *.tif in 2000

I have a user that has alot of fax.AWD files that was generated from Microsoft Fax in 95,
Know that we have migrated to 2000 those faxes are not viewable. Does any one have a solutions to this through 2000?

Use Kodak Imaging for Windows or purchase PaperPort 7.0

Imaging for Windows should have came with your system or is downloadable from Microsoft’s site.

Imaging for Windows is included in Windows 2000 and will view AWD files.
imaging for Windows is not in Microsoft Windows XP, if you need to view .awd files on XP you need to purchase it. It isn’t legal to install Imaging from a previous version of Windows.

Imaging for Windows is the Imaging application and ActiveX tools included in previous versions of Windows (see under Accessories/Imaging for Windows).

You can now buy Imaging for Windows which is compatible with the earlier versions and also includes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) ande is suitable for use with Windows XP
