A miserably frozes Bios

By emylouwho ·
I am trying to install Ubuntu onto a laptop without a cd-rom or floppy drive. But, when we try to access my bios to boot the flash drive it freezes. We cant move anything, none of the up/down arrows work in order to access the bios. What do I do? I can't find anything in any forums about this happening.

This is because your bios

does not recognise the device and freezes.Your laptop is not configured if it even it can boot from the flash drive. If it can you need to look in power management in the bios with out the flash plugged in.
