A short introduction

Let me introduce myself my name is jbcohen you may call me jb or anything that sounds like that. I am one year retired from federal government. I have 53 years in the game of it. I have come to learn as much as I can. Despite my years in it I am forever learning from my colleagues. I am older than 53 my first computer was a pdp 11 in the late 60’s.

Hope you find the site useful and informative. I’m a retired pharmacist,
but also had some IT responsibility for an AIX system that ran just about
everything in the stores. It was a combination grocery/drug store with
some 50 or so outlets. As for my first computer, I did get to play with a
Timex Sinclair, but the first I owned I rebuilt from scrap parts, a 386SX.
I also rebuilt an IBM PS2 Model 5500SX…hard to believe it’s been almost
40 years ago! Anyhow, enjoy your visits!
