I have been tasked with creating a test environment of 20 98 machines in an active directory enabled W2k domain. The objective is to enable these machines to get to the internet but not have access to internal network shares or resources. I was wondering if I should create another DNS zone with a different subnet. Currently we use 10.1.1.1 gateway setting. Could it be as simple as using for example 10.1.1.2 for the new zone to mask the newly created zone from therest of the network or will the Training environment still be able to see all shared resorces. ( This may be a TCP IP deficiency on my part.)
