What does the cpucheck.nlm do? I recently had a problem with this file. 1st my 4.11 server abended once(NNB<1>), after I noticed that I ran a dsrepair. Next thing I know I had lost remote contact and users were complaining that they couldn’t login. I travel to the server and the server had abended 4 more times(NNB<5>), and displayed this error message, abend pagefault processor exception(error code 00000000), additional information, the CPU encountered a problem executing code in Server.ELM. The problem may be that module or data passed to that module by another NLM ect….. I tried to unload all of the software and down/up the server, but it froze. I shut it off and back on again and it hung when tiring to load cpucheck.NLM. WhatI did is rem that statement out and it came up fine. Now my server is back up and running, but cpucheck.NLM is not loaded. I tried copying that file from my other 4.11 server and that didn’t work. Should I be concerned? How do I fix this problem? My server is running service patch 8A. Should I install nine? Help?
