My priv.edb on Exchange 5.5 SP3 was 6GB. I ran eseutil.exe /d /ispriv /tx:\temp.edb and got the file defragged down to 4.3GB. Question: Why would a private IS database be 4.3GB with only two individual mailboxes on it and each mailbox has 2 itemstotalling 6KB?
