I got thrown in my tech position, and I’m having trouble with a new Windows installation. I have a Dell Desktop 3000 series, and I recently bought a new WD 250GB IDE hard drive to replace one that crashed. It origianlly had a 160GB HD. I partitioned the drive and installed all the drivers, but I’ve been trying to install Windows for the last…six hours now. Does anyone know what causes this, and how to fix it?
