Abort Reinstallation of Windows XP

by mrcwhite . Updated 19 years ago

I am not a PC Pro…with that in mind….

To cut a long story short, I tried to reinstall XP on a new PC because of an error with Ghost. Half way through it wants the valadation code but the supplier didnt give me one. They assure me one is in the post but its taking ages. In the mean time, when I turn on the PC, it is still half way through reinstalling and wants a validation code to continue. Is there a way that I can abort the reinstallation and continue using the existing config until I receive the new codes?
