About Clustering Service

The issue here is that in a CLUSTER both NODES need access to a SHARED DISK. Currently IDE technology doesn't allow this. The options you have are to use SCSI or FIBRE CHANNEL. This doesn't mean that the NODES cannot contain IDE disks, simply that the SHARED DISKS must be SCSI or FC.
