About Windows 2000 Networking

By ask_anurag ·
HI,

I have Windows 2000 Server with Active Directory installed.I installed two NICs in my W2k Server because I want to use my server as a router.I have three subnets,I have assigned IP manually.I am not using DHCP.I also would like to know if I use DHCP then how I assign IP address to three different subnets.

1) 10.10.10.5 to 10.10.10.25

2) 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.40

3) 192.168.100.15 to 192.168.100.50

and now I want to connect three subnets by using my Windows 2000.I want one subnet can share files from second subnet and the third subnet and same is the case with other subnets. And also I want to divide internet sharing time to three subnets. How I do it.

I would appreciate if someone provided me complete assistance on it.

Thanks and Regards.

Anurag.
