I am currently sorting out a family members computer and have almost finished repairing it. My last issue with this pc is that it was already built in a shop and my cousin doesn’t have a motherboard cd-rom that has the required ac97 codec so has no sound. How do i get around this as the microsoft ac97 update codec doesn’t rectify the issue?
