Accept Decline window

By jthibodeau ·
I was wondering if there is a way that I would be able to incorporate a window during login that makes a user check off an acceptance box before the login occurs. I'm not talking about the login message that is in the registry but a window like the ones that you see when installing software and agreeing to the license terms and conditions.

Thank you

Not sure if this helps....

Maybe someone here knows of some obscure piece of code that does this...but in the meantime:

That message you refer to is driven by the Domain Security Policy. You can edit the message using MMC. In addition, you could use auditing & a tool like GFI Languard to monitor & report on login events.

The easier and generally accepted path:

Create an acceptable use policy that your users sign off on. They logon - They're accountable.

Incidentally, legal experts have opined that just having that message there holds a user accountable to it's contents.

This all assumes that the box is meant to confirm that your users have read the contents.
