Hello,
I’m VERY new at web server software, though I did put a web based BBS (http-country-computer.net) online.

What I need to do, not related to the above, is when someone logs on, sees the logon htm and selects/clicks an option (all options will be to view an html or ascii file)they would be restricted or allowed depending if their name is on a list in that particular directory.
As an example if the click on a link to Cousins (c:/cousins) and their name isn’t in the list of Cousins,ie:
tom smith
joe smith
nancy jones
they would be shown a blurb like “Your name was not in the Cousins List, Do you want the Uncles List”
