What difference between access 2000 and access 97?

There are a number of changes from 97 to 2000 for Access. You can get some information from Microsoft's site:

Access 2000 and Access 97: 2K added Active Server Pages + multiple minor refines.

Both Access 97 and Access 2000 are based on VB7 however 2000 incourages the use of ADO (vs DAO) hierarchy definition. Access 2000 comes with both an ADO and DOA engine so it can better access mainframe ODBC data sources like DB2 and Oracle.
