I’ve created a knowledge database with a Form user interface. Within this, I’ve offered users the option to keyword-search the database. This basically is Access’ “Find” function and it finds every instance in the database of the word or brief phrase the user enters–most of the time. Except…every now and then, it will get to this or that field (there does not seem to be a pattern) and, instead of highlighting the search word, it’ll highlight a whole paragraph or section, and get “stuck” there. While one knows there are more instances in the database of the desired search word, the search function goes no further. Since there does not seem to be any pattern to this, I’ve assumed it’s an Access 2000 bug. Does anyone have any ideas?
