access 2003

By sezua2000 ·
i have a database build in ms access 2003.
I want my database to be centalize so that i can collect data from different place n different people at the same time or different time.
i was thinking to build a web page kind form
from the same access 2003 that will be used to collect those information I want.
The issue is, how am i going to protect it so tha the user will only fill the form and nothing more.
and where is the link can be found which will be used to open the form direct from the origin source.
Also, how will the traffic be handle?

split your database

In effect you have 2 databases. One is on your server, or central computer, and contains nothing much except the data. The other is on as many PCs as you wish with the form(s) and links to the tables created via the Get External Data facility under the File list.
I am sorry I cannot be more helpful, but it is a long time since I have worked on such a system and I only ever worked on one.
