Access 97 Format Soc Sec Nos.

By MRA2 ·
Try this.....
Make a List Box or Combo box. Using a Query, put a field with Names and a field with Soc Sec Numbers in the box.

Whatever you do to the query that filled the box or the Box itself, you cannot get the SSN Mask to work!

Why not??? Anyway around this problem???
Please try your answer before you send it, you may be surprised.

Your assistance is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Uh, maybe I'm missing something, but when you have a List box or Combo box, the point of those items is that you select from a predefined list. The mask should NOT work, that's by design. You have to build a different form with a text box, in order to update the SSN's in that table using the mask.

Let me know if I'm missing something.
