Access and Built In Functions

I created a database in Access 2K SR-1 that works flawlessly on my laptop, however when I use it on another system everything works but the query, we are both using the same version OS and Access. The problem lies in the Date() function in my query, for some reason it works on mine however it does not work on any other computer. I don’t recall installing anything on my system that would cause incompatibility, any help would be greatly appreciative.
