Access database and Frontpage

By harddrive42 ·
I would like to know how would I link an Access database with frontpage as the front end and Access as the back end?

FrontPage has very detailed instructions for this. Go to Help in Frontpage and do a search on Access.

It is mainly a matter of defining the source of the data, called a recordset, and the defining how you wish to display that data (HTML)

That would depend on the Frontpage version. The easiest way in frontpage 2000 is drag and drop. If you are "connected" to your website via frontpage server extensions (which means you are actually connected to the webserver and not just the local disk), you can open windows explorer, grab the mdb file and drop it in to the Frontpage explorer/folders view. A dialogue box will then walk you thru.
