Access denied

By total geek ·
I have a computer running Windows XP. When trying to install a game on it. it comes up with acces denied, you need to have superviser rights to install. As this machine has just had a clean install on it, what could possibly be restricting access as the login is the default administrator.

Look forward to a response

Thanks in advance

Just wanted to know whether u have installed or some one else is installed. There may be a default administrator login. If you have created user, it may be hidden.
best way is to check.. start settings.. control panel..
user accounts..
see ur name got administrative rights or not..
if not.. just log off from the computer. and press ctrl+alt+del twice. so u will get a box with username and password. type in username as administrator and password (if you know the password type it ), if they havent put any password, leave it blank.

i think it should work for you..

When u have logged in ur name press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice and u get the administrator login screen.
enter administrator and press enter. Do not enter any password in the space given to enter pasword.
Then try to install the game if u have logged on to the desktop
