Access Denied in Peer to Peer Network

By computer_excel ·
I have 6 computers using Windows XP Pro, and they are connected together with 10/100 Ethernet Switches using peer to peer network. One of the computer has 200GB hard drive added to as secondary drive.

Now none of the other computer cannot access to one computer with 200GB hard drive. The error message said Acess denied due not enough storge space on the server.

What can I need to do to fix this problem?

?Do you use disk quotas?, It could be that the sum of them all be equal or superior to your drive's space/partition.

check if you dont happen to have any error message in the eventviewer of the computer that you are trying to access. check also if you dont have any problems in the device manager.

Update the drivers for the network card and reinstall the sp1 of xp afterwards on the computer that you are trying to access.

Did you share the folders on the new drive, or the whole drive?
if the drive was formatted with NTFS did you set access rights properly?
