Hi, my problem is that when I try to update my monitor driver I get a access denied when trying. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit and a HP w2207 monitor. it came with the driver disk but will not load. monitor show generic PNP monitor. I’ve downloaded the current driver from HP website same results. I have full admin rights to the PC. I’ve tried manual update and the update wizard just keep getting access denied. It reconizes the drivers but will not install. The monitor works but I don’t have all the features that come with. I guess my question is what folder are the monitor drivers in so I can check permissions for that folder but I don’t think that is the problem since I’m the admin. Also if anyone else had the same problem, let me know your fix. This is annoying.
