The active directory is using the NIST Active Directory security template on the only DC on W2K server running W2K AD. When attempting to add a new DC get “Access Denied” message during DC Promo. The Anonymous Access to setting 2, NTLM setting to 3.
Has anyone seen this message? If so, what is the workaround?
Thinking of reducing the anonymous access to 0 and NTLM setting to 0.
