I have lost my desktop cpu card and pulled the hard drive out. I am accessing my old hard drive files (Was attached to Xp user – cant remember user or pw) from my laptop and am receiving access denied. I try to change owner and permissions with no luck. It says I am now owner but still cannot open files. Also hoping to change entire drive rather then individual files. Can anyone help me here?
