Access Other's Folders

By s.mozden ·
There are a number of ways to set up access by other users one's standard folders. The question is: Once having granted permission in the Properties of a non-standard folder or subfolder of an Outlook mailbox, how can the user who has been granted permission to access the folder do so? The non-standard, or user created folder is not listed as one of those to which access can be selected.

Access Other's Folders

This only works in Corporate/Workgroup mode with Exchange Server.

From Outlook, select FILE/OPEN/Other User's Folder -> input the user name and the appropriate folder name.

If you have given access to the entire Mailbox, you can open it at startup via configuration of the Microsoft Exchange Service [Tools/Services/Microsoft Exchange Server/Properties/Advanced/Open these additional mailboxes.
