access problem during share some data

in our organization there are many PCs are connected with each other with help of switches. i have a problem that on same switch and same IP scheme but some PCs they are not connected with each other.
for example
i have two PC. PC "A" ip is and PC "B" ip is these both are ping each other but when i m trying to access them from ( "A" to "B") or
("b" to "a") they well access but on monitor screen one small window show on which he ask to me enter user ID And Password. here i write the password and administrator name of PC "B" but it never connected.
plz guide me. security is not important for me just you tell me the straight way of sharing or tell me in group policy where these all sharing problems handle form group policy.

Well there are a lot of possibilities here

Depending on the Network Type if you have a Peer to Peer setup you need to enter the computer password that you are trying to log into.

If there are more than 10 Concurrent Connections on the computer you are attempting to log onto then the Windows OS will not allow another connection. Of course this is lower if you don't have the Professional version of XP or the Business or Ultimate versions of Vista/7. With the lower domestic type versions the upper limit is 5 concurrent connections.

If you have a domain here you would be better off storing the files on the server and sharing from there.
