access to shared folder

By Sue T ·
How do I give access to a folder on Server 2003 with Active Directory when they have not been set up as a user in Active Directory? Everyone in our organization needs to access this one folder but we don't want to set up everyone with a user account on this server. They only need to be able to read what is in the folder. Is this possible and if so how do I do it? Thank you.

So long as the user without an account logs in as Guest, they will be able to access the shared folder assuming the Everyone account, as descibed above, is added to the folder's security.

Good luck
