access to the internet

I working in nt domain environment and access to the internet was given only to selected people in our office.
Since we are only using proxy server to connect to net I was able to setup my pc to have an access.
I’m using windows me and I used to clear all the temporary internet files and typed url in their respective folders inorder to hide my access to net. Is this enough to hide my access from my administrator?
