Access two network connections at once?

by torque2k . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

I’ve got a user who uses SAPS95 to link her computer to our server’s modem banks, and then uses special link software (RUMBA) and telnet to hook into a customer’s secure network system. Normally this computer is linked to our server farm via TCP/IP over an ISDN 128k pipe, WAN. When she wishes to connect to her customer’s system, she dials in using SAPS over our network, and our modems create the illusion of a Dial-Up Connection.

While she is connected via this virtual dial-up, she cannot useIE 5.0 to access the internet (through a Raptor firewall at server end). When the “dial-up” connection is broken, IE works fine over the WAN…

We’ve banged our collective heads against the wall trying to figure out what settings will work. Is this “do-able”?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
