Access Violation in wow32.dll

I use Win XP service pack-2 and One of Win-98 application software UVWINLAB used to interface with Instrument lambda12. Gives an application error:
"UVWINLAB caused an access violation in WOW32.dll at 0x0ffc4bb4."
Click on CLOSE to terminate the Application
Click on Cancel to debug the Application
Click on IGNORE to Continue,you should save your work in a new file.

Could be possible to fix the problem?

Couple of possibilities

by IC-IT In reply to Access Violation in wow32 ...

Right click the application.
Click the compatibility mode.
Try it in Win98 mode.

Other;
Enable viewing of protected and hidden files.
Search your computer for the Wow32.dll and replace it from a cached location.
If you just received updates, you should unregister the dll and try an older version.
